The Costa Tropical is a very traditional and quiet area of Southern Spain and lies along the coast of the Province of Granada in Andalucia. It is an area which features small white washed Andalucian villages, high mountains and sparkling blue sea. Along the coastline the rugged scenery drops off into the sea, forming high cliffs and small secluded bays.

Rain on the Costa Tropical is relatively rare in the winter months and a small area along the coast near Salobrena where the villa is located has the warmest winter climate in Europe making it an ideal destination for winter tourists.
The villa is well protected from the prevailing south-westerly winds, allowing you to spend more time relaxing outdoors.
Even though the daytime temperatures can be very comfortable at night it can often be cool and heating is required. Indoors there is a large glazed fireplace in the living area, creating not only a lot of heat but also a cosy atmosphere at night time. In the main bedroom heating is by the wall mounted air-conditioning unit, the other bedrooms have energy efficient (low consumption) wall mounted electric radiators.
We charge a low basic rental in winter of just 550 euros a week with electricity charged separately – but the glorious sunshine is included for free and most years visitors who wish to take full advantage of the sunny weather return home with a tan, even in January after just a week’s stay.
