The Costa Tropical features miles of coastline and numerous small Spanish pueblos and certain areas around Salobrena are particularly interesting and pretty. Most visitors to the area are suprised by how this region has remained relatively untouched by development and how green it remains throughout the year, despite the unusually warm conditions found here. One of the defining images of the Costa Tropical is the castle of Salobrena sat on top of a giant rock close to the Mediterranean and rising out of a flat green sea of sugar cane, of which there are direct views of from the villa.
