Spanish Holiday Villas – Spanish Villa Holidays the advantages.

JacuzziWe have lived in Spain for over 8 years, enjoying the traditional atmosphere away from the high density resorts, have a look at the description our Spanish villa rental for information about our 3 bedroom villa with (salt water) pool and jacuzzi on the coast in southern Spain.

Despite the economic issues facing Europe, Spain remains exceedingly popular with holiday makers who enjoy the sun and travel there each year to hotels, apartments and Spanish holiday villa rentals, however, with so many options now available as a result of the widespread use of the internet, it is easy to forget the advantages of villa holidays in Spain.

Spain is one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations for a number of reasons. Firstly, Spain is close to the UK and the rest of northern Europe, even the south of Spain is just a two hour flight and the area of the Costa Tropical has two international airports within an hour’s drive (Malaga and Granada). Unlike other international destinations such as Florida and Brazil it is possible to go for a quick week-long break to the sunny southern Spanish coasts whatever time of the year.

Spain has more to offer than just crowded beaches and package holidays in overdeveloped areas. While some areas are heavily promoted and attract mass tourism there still remain some relatively undeveloped and natural areas such as the Costa Tropical which boasts kilometers of coastline and no package tourism.

In addition there are a large variety of Spanish holiday villa rental options for all tastes and budgets. Whether someone wants a small isolated property or a large luxury villa close to international marinas there is something for everyone.

Spain enjoys a wonderful climate, in fact on the Costa Tropical you will find the warmest winters in mainland Europe. The climate in this region is a sub tropical micro-climate allowing tropical fruits such as mangos to be grown.

Spain provides a stable environment and culture. While some areas of the world such as Thailand may provide beautiful holiday villas and colourful culture there can be issues to do with political stability which need to be taken into account.

If safety is important then compared to many exotic international destinations Spain is relatively free of crime. It is still typical in the quieter towns and smaller communities, such as Salobrena, for young children to be allowed to play safely outdoors even at midnight.

Holiday villas in Spain can also provide an economic holiday solution with cheap flights and the possibility of families sharing larger villas and preparing their own meals to avoid the accummulating costs of eating out each day.

It’s time to rediscover Spain.
